Unfortunately it has the look, feel, and smell of faux leather. As there is no way of contacting the seller, I am taking the unusual step of posting this review in the hope of eliciting a response. I am aware that some buyers actually prefer faux or PU leather, and the design quite nice, as is the notepad.
