Product Description The POLYWOOD Classic Folding Adirondack (AD5030) is a comfortable, stylish deck chair made from solid, heavy-duty, marine-grade HDPE POLYWOOD to mimic the appearance of painted wood. The weather-resistant chair comes with a 20-year warranty against splintering, cracking, chipping, and peeling. Weighing 34 lbs, this chair measures 29x35.75x35.75 inches and folds down for easy transportation and storage. Made in the USA, the Classic Folding Adirondack requires no staining, painting, or waterproofing and is available in a variety of different fade-resistant colors. The contoured chair pairs well with POLYWOOD’s OT53 Ottoman, XPWS0008 seat cushion, the XPWP0106 headrest pillow, and the XPWF0010 full cushion. They came today and to say we're VERY pleased is an understatement. They are for the most part, already put together. All you have to do is put them in the right position, install two Polywood pieces and and a bolt on each arm, tighten and enjoy. It took two of us no more than 5 minutes per chair. It simply can't get any simpler. These chairs are foldable, but you'd have to do in reverse what you did to put them together, so not likely something we'd do very often anyway. We love the vibrant color and Polywood says the chairs are weatherproof, won't splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot when exposed to the elements. They may not be the least expensive Adirondack chairs you can buy and they're certainly not the most expensive either. For us, they were the quality we wanted, at a reasonable price, incredibly easy to put together and should last the test of time. It doesn't get better than this, no it doesn't!

There's nothing like a nice comfy Adirondack Chair in your yard, especially with the type of view we're more than fortunate enough to have. We went on a mission to find quality chairs, which wouldn't be difficult to put together, were well made, and would stand up to the hot, humid sun in Florida. Reading review after review, some chairs appeared nice enough, until you read how difficult and time consuming they were to put together. The reviews for these chairs from Polywood, were uniformly excellent. Since we're not exactly handy, easy to put together was important. So we took the plunge and ordered two. They came today and to say we're VERY pleased is an understatement. They are for the most part, already put together. All you have to do is put them in the right position, install two Polywood pieces and and a bolt on each arm, tighten and enjoy. It took two of us no more than 5 minutes per chair. It simply can't get any simpler. These chairs are foldable, but you'd have to do in reverse what you did to put them together, so not likely something we'd do very often anyway. This is technically a fold-able chair. However, due to how the chair is put together, to fold it you need to knock out a couple pins. I wouldn't want to do that on a regular basis, but it is something I'll do when putting it up for the winter. Hopefully I'll be able to find the pins in the spring. I had a bit of trouble finishing the installation. I had to disassemble part of the chair to get the bold holes to line up. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but the instructions weren't particularly helpful. Having said that, let me say that this is my new favorite lawn chair. It is very comfortable, very good looking, and I expect it to be more durable than a similar wooden Adirondack chair. Also, similar Polywood Adirondack chairs are selling for nearly $400 locally, so this is a very good deal.
