Polywood AD5030SR Classic Folding Adirondack, Sunset Red

There's nothing like a nice comfy Adirondack Chair in your yard, especially with the type of view we're more than fortunate enough to have. We went on a mission to find quality chairs, which wouldn't be difficult to put together, were well made, and would stand up to the hot, humid sun in Florida. Reading review after review, some chairs appeared nice enough, until you read how difficult and time consuming they were to put together. The reviews for these chairs from Polywood, were uniformly excellent. Since we're not exactly handy, easy to put together was important. So we took the plunge and ordered two. They came today and to say we're VERY pleased is an understatement. They are for the most part, already put together. All you have to do is put them in the right position, install two Polywood pieces and and a bolt on each arm, tighten and enjoy. It took two of us no more than 5 minutes per chair. It simply can't get any simpler. These chairs are foldable, but you'd have to do in reverse what you did to put them together, so not likely something we'd do very often anyway. We love the vibrant color and Polywood says the chairs are weatherproof, won't splinter, crack, chip, peel, or rot when exposed to the elements. They may not be the least expensive Adirondack chairs you can buy and they're certainly not the most expensive either. For us, they were the quality we wanted, at a reasonable price, incredibly easy to put together and should last the test of time. It doesn't get better than this, no it doesn't!

Very versatile and of good value and quality.

This is technically a fold-able chair. However, due to how the chair is put together, to fold it you need to knock out a couple pins. I wouldn't want to do that on a regular basis, but it is something I'll do when putting it up for the winter. Hopefully I'll be able to find the pins in the spring. I had a bit of trouble finishing the installation. I had to disassemble part of the chair to get the bold holes to line up. Maybe I was doing it wrong, but the instructions weren't particularly helpful. Having said that, let me say that this is my new favorite lawn chair. It is very comfortable, very good looking, and I expect it to be more durable than a similar wooden Adirondack chair. Also, similar Polywood Adirondack chairs are selling for nearly $400 locally, so this is a very good deal.

I ordered 2 of these chairs in white and love them. Got them a day earlier than scheduled. It took longer to get them out of the box than it did to put them together, 2 screws, 2 nuts, and 2 dowel like things. Honestly, it took my husband about 5 minutes at most to put first chair together. Second chair maybe 3 minutes. They are sturdy, strong and heavy enough that even a strong wind will not blow away as these are sitting out in the open. The chairs were fairly expensive but you do get what you pay for. I replaced 2 wooden chairs that I paid over $100 for and had for less than 3 years. They were completely rotten. I truly believe the chairs are the answer to my outdoor seating problem. Also they are very comfortable and easy to get out of unlike a lot of adirondack chairs.

Bought these for my trailer - look great and quality is good but over $400 is Overpriced but I needed something
