John Wickersham's Haynes book is quite good, but he's distracted by having built some "coachbuilt" conversions (where you build the body as well as fitting it out) and he "wastes" a lot of space on things most people will never do. "How to build for less than £1000" is funny and entertaining, but a lot of it is only relevant to a build using a donor caravan. Speed's "Travel vans" is inspiring, but a bit old-fashioned, it's worth reading but you wouldn't want it as your only book. The subject of this review, Kenny Biggin's book is not cheap, but if you want to buy just one book, it's the best I've seen. I'd say it'll say you considerable time on your conversion firstly because he gives good advice, and secondly because you can refer to the book, then get on with the next job rather than trawling the internet, getting distracted, and having to sort out a bunch of conflicting advice!
