I don’t get the purpose. I love these lights. Fantastic bright white for every day use. If you turn them on from the light switch there is a 2-3 second delay. You can just turn one on or you can turn on all 6. You can even make them all different colors at one time however when doing so it may crash the app. Again I love them so much I bought all 6 for my ceiling fan.
