It's a cream wallet so that was bound to happen in my purse probably at some point, but when things are new I like them to have no blemishes. After carrying it for a few weeks, I think it's because the leather is very soft and prone to damage which makes it look dirty (but it's not actually dirt, it's damage from scratches and handling). However, as I like to carry higher-end authentic leather handbags, I am beginning to be embarrassed about the way the wallet is looking now when I pull it out. I love the slim non-fussy design so if you like it too, I would recommend it in a darker color than the cream.
