Other wallet trackers like Chipolo require you to have proprietary apps, and those apps constantly tell you to turn on location access at all times. They ask SO OFTEN that it feels like they’re mining your location data and planning to sell it to the highest bidder. Feels creepy. FindMy is private. The company is really helpful. My card stopped charging after a half year because of a little malfunction. After a few emails to see if they could help me fix it, they sent out a new card and offered a new one-year warranty from the date I received it. The whole correspondence took no more than a few days. Really appreciated that responsive service! Great company and I recommend you go for the card! The other nice thing is if I leave my wallet at home, I will get an alert when I'm maybe 1/2" mile from the house saying I left it behind.
