My daisy 880 has no issue with the initial knock down target, but struggles a bit with the reset at a little under 20 yards. Loosening the bolt a bit so that it moves loosely is recommended for lower powered air rifles. My .22 Umarex had no issue at all resetting it at 20-30 yards. I had to tighten the bolt back up a bit as the force from my more powerful .22 actually caused the swing mechanism to slip and it works perfect now. My sons shoot .177 pellets at it (traveling 1,000 feet per second), shooting from about 40 feet away, and they don't move the yellow target area much.
