**Q: what is the inside depth of the holder?**
A: Hi, it is about 2.5 inches or 5.8cm for the inside depth. That's why it will fit at least 4 pieces of thick sandstone coasters or 6 pieces of ceramic coaster or up to 8 pieces of other thinner cork coasters.

**Q: What are the "ball feet" made of?  Will they scratch a furniture's surface?**
A: They are the same metal as the top part, but I've not seen any scratches. The ball feet are round, perhaps that helps to prevent scratching. I have had  it on a couch side table for several months. The coasters are great that I ordered with them. No moisture residue!

**Q: I got four pea sized black foam pieces with sticky on one side - what are they for??? No directions and nothing on this page.**
A: Are they the "feet" to the stand?  There should be 4 rubber feet...maybe they became unattached?

Other than that, no clue.

**Q: Will it scratch a wood coffee table if move it?**
A: No, it will not. It comes with rubber pads that you can attach to the "feet" if you wish - with an extra one just in case. I recently bought a new coffee table (that's why I needed a coaster holder and coasters to protect it!) and am very happy with it. You won't regret buying it
