I use this cutting board along with my GSI buggaboo backpacker, and its really cool because it fits right on top of the pans and under the strap and doesn't stick out at all. It is about the size of a blue ray disc case, or PS3 game case and thinner than any smart phone. The fact that if folds is great for space and for the ability to fold to pour whatever your cutting directly into the pot. Hope this helps.

This is more for car camping I would say. A bit on the heavy side. Unfolds but doesn't really lay flat unfolded. Maybe over time it will. I'm considering cutting it in half down the hinge. Nice texture on the surface. Easy to clean. Def durable.

Bought this cutting board for backpacking trip up in Yosemite for 4 days. It was perfect as we didn't have to use any uneven rocks or anything when preparing food. This fits really anywhere in your backpack. It's durable and looks nice. MSR makes great outdoor products!

I bought this for a 5 day backpacking trip through the grand canyon. I like to take real food for the first day on backpacking trips, so usually end up needing to do a bit of food prep before cooking, or just something on which to cut meat and cheese. This cutting board works fine for that, but the folding mechanism doesn't keep it closed or open. I can't get it to stay shut, and it wont lie flat when in use. It's so small that I wish they got rid of the hinge altogether, but oh well.

We loved having this folding cutting board when we went camping this summer. Very durable, attractive color, easily washes up. Perfect for our needs, yet hardly takes any room at all.

Wished I had looked at the reviews on this one as others have said it does not lay flat when unfolded. Tried to force it a bit and it broke in half. Don’t recommend this one but saw the GSI version of this at the store and it’s a bit bigger but snaps in place to lay flat.

I bought this to use on those occasions when I take fresh foods with me to cook on the trail. Light, folds small to put in a pack pocket....folds out wide enough to trim fat off a strip steak or slice onions, mushrooms broccoli etc....can be used as a plate or work or writing surface. Has multiple uses....great piece or trail kit.

Excellent and prompt service .Brilliant little gem of a cutting board .It's folded as big as my hand , will use it as a wind break for my wood/alcohol stove and afterwards use it as a cutting board or table .Excellent for backpacking , not heavy but weighted enough to use as a wind break .Very recommended .
