I didn't want to put a solid barrier that would visually clutter up the area so I gave this a try. While it is easier to install with four hands, the extra two could belong to anyone over the age of five since it involves just some holding in place. It has made it through a very hot summer with no problem so far, and served its purpose very well. It is the easiest stuff to use! Just order extra stakes because they really dont give you enough. You dont have to put a stake in every hole, but you definitely need more than they supply. I love using this edging because of how fast and easy it is. I put a stake in the first hole to mark where i want it and then just unroll and pop one in wherever necessary. You can put them a few feet apart but may need to add an extra one here and there so that it keeps the shape you want. I used some last summer and bought more and then decided to do more areas this year and bought more again. It is made of a nice solid material, is easy to install and best of all requires no digging. One thing to note. These do not come with enough spikes in my opinion. You tend to use more spikes for areas with curves to hold the shape you need. This comes with thirty of 8” spiral spikes. Had to order a box of 24 to complete what I needed to.ProsIt is well made and durable. It has enough flex to make it easy to work with and yet it is also strong and thick. Be prepared to use a good set of shears to cut. I was able to cut this using a Leatherman pocket knife which was very sharp. Took a good amount of effort to make the few cuts I needed.Includes 5 connectors to join two sections. These work well and the seam is not noticeable.ConsNot enough spikes. At 30 spikes per 100foot of edging, they expect you to use 1 every 3.33’ which is too far.
