Works great for filling Thermacell cartridges! Make sure to remove the check valve before filling. Also check a new cartridge to see how high to fill it. Lastly, make sure this adapter has 2 o-rings on it. It comes with extra o-rings. There are helpful videos in the comments. Check YouTube if you need help removing the check valve.

If you’re buying this to refill the thermacell fuel cartridges it is worth it. I found it super easy to use for that purpose and would recommend the purchase. Definitely watch YouTube video tutorials on how to refill the fuel cells first. There is a procedure that must be done to the fuel cells before attempting any refilling. This item makes it super cost efficient to reuse the fuel cells.

Sounded to good to be true. I knew it. Waste of gas. I did this with two same o rings nothing. Then one big ring on top one one small on bottom and nothing works not one drop Enter the canister. Get something else if you have mosquito repellent fuel.

Works for the Thermacell cylinders. One thing to keep in mind is NOT to push all the way down (just push in about 1/2 ways). Also, make sure that you have a stable hand (no wiggling side-to-side), I broke two of the nozzles during my first attempts where I pushed the nozzle in too hard and ended up tilting the canister sideways. The narrow part of the nozzles is VERY thin legal and will break off before you know it. Just make sure you keep a tight hold on the Thermacell canister (maybe put it in a vise with a cloth around it?) and keep the gas cylinder steady when filling. As shown in some videos, as your gas cylinder empties you’ll have to start letting out some of the pressure from the Thermacell canister to continue filling. Just disconnect the two for a second, the. Push down half-ways again. While I wished that the narrow part was stronger, I still think this is a good deal instead of buying new Thermacell canisters at an outrageous price.

Thermocell refills are easy, now. (AFTER removing the one way valve) Google it. Two o-rings to set the depth, and this fills my spent cartridges up fairly quick. I had to play around with my hand pressure for a few minutes to get used to it, but...dang! It works great! Saved me a TON of money. Highly recommended.

Great product. Just utube how to remove the one way valve from the Thermacell container. Save yourself $4 a container.

Bought to refill butane cylinders for our Thermacell. Only got a small amount in one cylinder and none in the other.
