Easy, non messy and healthy for plants
Perfect drainage for cacti and succulents in the dry hot Arizona heat. I use this with my indoor plants also, never overwatering or no clogging for this medium. Good stuff for sure, and you can pre-fertilize it before adding plants. Win win Edit: tried using a different brand/seller for a faster delivery. There is definitely a difference between the two. I will not buy the other brand again, it was not like this brand at all. Took longer to make, longer to dry out and clumpy. Gro Med only for growing anything in hot dry climates, it absorbs perfectly and dries out super fast! No perlite or other medium needed.

This is great to mix with soil when planting new plants. Just add fertilizer to it and a bit of perlite.

Amazing Product
This stuff is fantasticit! I use it for outdoor potted plants & my window box plantings. I break off a small-ish chunk (since it expands), then break it up into the planter. If I'm also using other soil, I mix this in. If there was already soil in the pot, I simply add this to the top. Water it and it expands like magic, so a little goes a long way! My plants have thrived since using this. This is the best year I've ever had with my Spring-planted perrenials!

Easy to use.
I’ve bought a few different brands. I put these in a bucket and 1/2 filled it with water. A few minutes it just fell apart. No fighting like others. The two were stuck together so i thought it was one. But it worked great. I mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 with garden soil. Perfectly light blend. I added organic plant soil additives, liquid with worms. I hope this works.
