I suspect that you will need a bigger quantity than the small 250ml tin if your going to spray. I applied the enamel with brushes and the finish on the engine was excellent. **Q: Do you apply straight to the metal or does it need primer?** A: You need to thoroughly degrease the metal, something like upol panel wipe firstly. Then use a scouring method to create a 'key' for the paint to adhere to. Having done so, degrease with upol etc again. When thoroughly dry, degrease & lightly scuffed surface apply a thin coat of paint. Once dry, apply another thin coat & repeat. Build up to 4 or 5 layers to get that pro look & finish.
