Great movie
Finally upgraded my old Elite DVD from the 90s. Transfer looks great and the special features are sweet. Jeffrey Combs does entertaining commentary tracks.

Good 80's Horror Film with a Literal Ton of Extras
I loved this film as a kid and wanted to revisit it on Blu-ray to see if it held up. Unfortunately, the film wasn't quite as great as I remembered it (I think the famous "head" scene is what made it stand out for me), but boy did they pull out all the stops with the extras. The picture quality is pretty good for a film this old, and the sound is surprisingly clear, but the extras are why I would recommend purchasing the film. There's a lot to watch here including a documentary and various interviews. If you're considering purchasing Re-Animator -- this is the version to get.

Great Edition; 2 Disc Edition Not Necessary
Arrow video put out a fantastic release for the 4k remaster of the unrated edition of reanimator. For those bummed out about missing the 2 disc edition, don't fret too much about it. The integral edition exclusive to that set just splices the R version of the film with some longer scenes with the unrated edition's included gore, making a sort of Frankenstein cut. Honestly, the added scenes don't add anything to the movie and honestly kind of ruin the pacing and detract from the story and characters. This is why the unrated cut is also the director's intended version.

Arrow has done a fantastic job with this transfer. Great grain and excellent 5.1 remastered audio. Also a terrifically fun film

Good restoration and special features
If you enjoy this movie and like me have never seen any of the extras, I think you'll be happy with this special edition blu-ray. Some of the reviews don't seem to be for the same disc that I bought probably because Amazon does a poor job of linking the correct product to the reviews.

Worth it!!! WOW!
The film quality is insane on my 4K TV. The extras are great! And I’m really impressed with the new artwork for the release. If you’re a fan of this film, this is the best version you’ll find. Seek this one out, it’s worth it!

Blu ray con subtítulos en inglés No había visto esta película pero a pesar de que no es muy complicada logra poner tenso al espectador Porqué no subtitularon al español?

Ya tenía planeado comprar la película tiempo atrás, y cuando vi un comentario con fotos de lo que le llegó: una película en protector de cartón con libritos incluidos me convencí. Ya cuando me llegó me sentí un poco decepcionado porque sólo me llegó el Blu Ray, luego leí lo que ofrecían en la página y me di cuenta que no me prometían eso. Sólo me quedó esa duda de si en el pasado la enviaban así o no...
