Review: Looks and Feels Great - I ordered this for my new ROG Xbox Ally X. This was a pricey investment and I didn’t want to get the screen scratched right away. I usually go with clear screen protectors, but this time I tried the matte one. Glare isn’t as much of an issue for me with my phone or tablet, but if I’m playing games, I’d rather not have to deal with bright lighting bouncing back at me. I knew that it might make the display look a bit fuzzy, but I decided to give this a try to see how I liked it. If it bothered me, I could always get a clear one later. The application was simple, though not quite as easy as the ones that come with a full-coverage applicator frame with a pull-tab. Still, after attaching the guide frame, I got the alignment perfect on the first try. There were some large bubbles, but luckily they weren’t caused by dust. A few strategic swipes of the included squeegee slid them all to the edges where they disappeared. The display is a bit fuzzier after this, but not something that I notice once I start playing. The anti-glare properties are a lot better with the screen than without. The screen protector truly is full-coverage. It’s the perfect fit to cover the display edge-to-edge. It is a bit thick and it’s very noticeable on my device because the matte finish stands out against the glossy case, but I think it looks neat. The feel of it is great. It’s silky-smooth and does a great job at repelling fingerprints. My original screen looked awful with all of the smudges any time I touched the screen, but with this screen protector, you’ll barely see any finger marks at all. Any any that do show up wipe off instantly. And since it’s a cheap screen protector that comes with a spare, I don’t feel like I need to baby it when I do wipe it. If it eventually gets scratched enough to bother me, I’ll just remove it and put a new one on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great screen protector

This screen protector works great on my Asus Xbox Ally X. It comes with everything you need, two screen protectors, an alcohol pad, a microfiber cloth, a dust removal sticker, a cardboard squeegee thing, and a guide. I didn't use the guide and I was able to apply the protector on the first try. All you gotta do is wipe the screen down with the alcohol pad, then the microfiber cloth, then use the dust removal sticker to get any dust off that happens to fall after that. Then remove the sticker from the screen protector and line one edge up with one of the vertical edges of your screen (I went left to right) very slowly. Then slowly work your way down the horizontal edges. Once it plops in place, press in the middle and work your way outwards to work any air out. Then use the cardboard squeegee to work any remaining air bubbles out. I had two small air bubbles in the middle area that eventually went away by gently rubbing the squeegee around on them until the protector adhered to the screen in those areas. The clarity of the screen protector is great, it doesn't obscure the graphics of your games. However there is a slight reflection (you get this with any screen protector that isn't matte). So if a slight reflection will bother you, go with a matte version but know that matte screen protectors can sometimes dull your resolution. So far I'm happy with it.
