I have tried connecting to 2 different computers and 12 different flash drives of all types but as soon as i transfer data it disconnects (with nothing else plugged into it) This is pretty common with the cheaper hubs. I was hoping this one would be different. it was a good hub while it lasted I needed a small USB hub that i could attach to the side of my desk with some double sided tape. This one seemed to be what i needed so i purchased it and am VERY happy with the quality and speed of the device. The ports all provide the speed advertised, the case is sturdy and construction quality seems spot on. the cable and 5v port aren't perfect for my needs, but there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to things like that so i do not consider that something to ding this hub for.
