**Q: does it take a special paint?  or can you vuy it a sherwin paint company,  Can a first timer learn easy>**
A: No. The gaskets are Viton, so they can handle any type of paint. (Water Base, Oil Base, Chlorinated Rubber Base, even a 2 part Epoxy Striping Paint).  Water Based paint is most popular because it is environmentally safe and can be cleaned with water from a hose. The machine is rugged, light-weight and easy to operate. Do a professional job on the first line. Sherwin Williams is a national brand of Traffic Paints. 10-15 minute dry time is best. Not the real fast drying paints.

**Q: how do you turn the paint on and off on the 250 b ?**
A: We have designed the 250BP with a Toggle Switch at the top of the handle itself, so all you do is switch it on/off with your thumb as you need more pressure. You initially pressurize the paint tank to 40-50 psi. depending on the thickness/thinness of the paint and turn the compressor off. There is a gauge to show you how much pressure is in the tank. You will stripe 10 or 20 lines and the pressure will go down, where the spray pattern isn't wide enough for the 4" spray box. All you do is flip the switch on the handle to build the pressure back up to 40-50 psi, and switch it off to stripe another 10-20 lines. You never have to stop striping, just increase the pressure as needed.
