That was scrapped, all versions were released with all 6. Nobody needs to worry about missing characters. Also, season 2 has a couple days left on Kickstarter if you weren't aware. ;) **Q: What’s the difference between the mind bottling games and the roxley games versions?** A: They are the exact same with these exceptions: 1) The box changed very slightly to label it "Roxley" 2) The rulebook had some minor improvements. FYI- I have the MBG version and the instructions are perfectly clear. **Q: Is there any difference between the KS version and this one?** A: To be clear, the Kickstarter version or Champion Edition, has swirl dice. The retail version and color dice. This is the only difference. Proof: I am Dice Throne staff. **Q: Is this the base game? Are seasons 1 and 2 merely expansions?** A: Season 1 is the base game. Season 2 is an expansion with 8 characters being able to be added to the game. However, season 2 will release the 8 characters in packs. You can either add the 2 characters that come in pack or buy all 4 packs for the 8 total. You won’t be able to customize which characters come in a pack. But overall I plan on buying all 4 packs anyways. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun, Addictive, and Innovative *by R***Y on March 7, 2018* A beautifully designed game (both in aesthetics and in game play). I was curious about the Season 1 Kickstarter, but never backed it. When Season 2 came around on Kickstarter, I was blown away by the cast of new and innovative characters being added and so I decided it was time. Ordered my copy here on Amazon and got to play a few times already....and...I'm hooked! Good mix of strategy and luck...but even the luck aspect has opportunities for mitigation through playing cards and using abilities. Each character feels unique and plays completely differently from the rest. I've gone all in on Season 2 campaign because....it's just that awesome!!Pro tip for people who are not "gamers" or who are playing with people who are not. Start with the publisher recommended first game settings. Leaving out the CP and cards for the first game will majorly simplify your decisions for your first game and will help you ramp up to the basic flow of the turn. Once you've played through a few rounds, it will become very easy.As others have mentioned, the Roxley team is fantastic and interact with the fans through different social media forums to help answer questions players might have. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun and Easy *by K***B on January 16, 2020* My husband and I play this 2 player mostly. It is a bunch of fun and with the character cards you can randomly draw who you get! (if you don't have these, you could always make them) It is fun in a battle royal with more people as well. We have a regular gaming group of 6 people that also get together to play games on the weekend, and this is one of the more popular ones that gets requested. It is easy to learn for older folks (oldest in our group is in his 50s) as well as for children (we had a 8 year old play with us one week). I would compare it to playing Magic the Gathering, but with no need to go out and collect a bunch of cards. The box that this comes in is a little bulky, but makes it easy to travel with with all the sets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun, Balanced Combat *by C***K on February 1, 2018* I did not back it on kickstarter, but I will support season 2's in February.The game is well balanced and the creators have been active online answering any questions that come up.It's not hard to learn, but it does help to have a good strategy. I have played 1v1 with my wife and also played 2v2 matches with other groups. So far everyone has found a character that fits the level of depth they want.
