I requested a replacement from the seller and they sent a new one right away without asking for the original to be returned. The replacement came in a Pentair branded bag whereas the original did not come in a Pentair bag. Also the original that was missing the tabs has different stamping on the lip than the replacement. You can see in the photo the Penatair version (left) has the tabs and the original item sent (right) has no tabs and the different stamping. When you receive this check that it comes in a Pentair bag and has the tabs.As others have reported the tabs may need a little filing to get the weir to fit in the basket. I bought both new OEM and I had to file one tab a few times to get the weir to drop enough to rotate. Not even enough filing was need to get the dremel tool out.A mounting tab for the weir door on my skimmer was broken so instead of an aftermarket weir door I purchased this assembly. The performance of this assembly is great and I'm very satisfied.
