There were no leaks when I first opened my boxes, but I did notice that both bottles were missing almost half an inch of product from the top (the Shea butter body wash was missing slightly less, but that’s probably due to product displacement from the pump). However, this seems to be normal for all their products, and is probably due to their machine processing. Both products also have some discoloration/settling of the coconut oil at the bottom of the container, but that’s to be expected from a natural product.When I used the Shea body wash, I was met with a subtle, pleasant Shea butter scent. This took me by surprise, since their lavender body wash had a REALLY strong scent, and I was expecting the Shea body wash to smell as strong as my Shea moisture hair mask.Otherwise, the body wash worked well on my skin, with little/no bubbles being produced (which meant the product was trapping more oil/dirt particles and less air molecules). I also needed less product compared to if I was using most other body washes.TL;DR: The body wash formula is good, with minimal bubbling and a little going a long way, and a nice Shea butter scent. I’ll continue using the product as a daily body wash, but I’m not sure if I’ll continue using it as a shaving cream for my legs, since they need all the moisture they can get. I was looking for Obsession cologne, this is just about that. Started off a Coconut smell, which isn't bad. Must be the coconut oil settled to the bottom. A small amount was oily at first, quickly it straightened out to a great smell so I'm changing my review. Smells great. Being a guy, it seems to do a good job with heavy duty cleaning and also takes care of my usual dry skin very well. I would like a larger home size, but these are not too too small. I like the scent quite a bit, some component in it was also in an old lotion I liked called cotton candy. This was my first choice of all the natural soaps I am interested in trying, and for the price I will just stick with this one. We all love it and we can’t even agree on toothpaste! It’s got a light scent that makes you smell clean, but doesn’t make my asthma act up. It leaves my skin so smooth and the red bumps I constantly had on my legs are almost gone. It doesn’t irritate my daughter’s or my sensitive areas like other soaps. I’ve also used it on my nephew when he’s staying over and its one of the few soaps that do not irritate his skin. I have to be careful on what I use on him and he’ll randomly break out over even the most natural of lotions or cleaners. It’s so creamy we’ve used it as shave cream instead of having to buy separate items. We also feel that it doesn’t leave residue like other soaps.
