Simply does what it should
Lansky Diamond 'hones' actually shape the blade, as well as maintain it. They are (relatively) low cost and do the job. Well recommended

Quality definitely decreasing
Arrived broken and as it came from the US I will need to glue it back together. Looking at other reviews it seems as if the glue holding the stone in place is defective. I would expect better from lansky

Great results, but poor product overall
Really fantastic diamond hone, but had a few problems - first of all the hole for the steel rod to fit into was blocked on arrival and I had to clean it out myself, but after 2 weeks medium usage it fell apart, the stone detaching from the plastic mount. I guess this was a problem with the glue? A replacement would be much appreciated

MC仕様の物が刃欠けしたので購入しました 気に入って永く愛用しているのですが、海外現地購入時から今までずっと思っている事が… 多分、愛用者は皆思ってると(^^;) 作りが甘い！ ツメが甘い！ 製品毎のバラツキが大きい！ セッティングが毎回変わるリスクが高い！ 少なくとも一回は砥石が落ちてくるね でも、愛さずにはいられない、手が掛かれば、(精密研磨したければ)コツもいる ダイヤモンドホーニングストーンというよりも、地面に直置きした金属棒みたいな(^^;) まばら…みたいな でも、LANSKY愛してますから♪

Diamonds are aggressive!
Diamond hones are much more aggressive than Aluminum Oxide. This 400# cuts like a coarse 120# on Magnacut! Maybe once it is broken in, it will be smoother like a 280# medium. I achieved a good bevel and sharp edge, but had a difficult time polishing off the scratches. I hope Lansky will release the 1000# (Mint) to the market soon. I read bad reviews regarding the 600#, stating that it is coarser than the 400#, so I skipped that. I tried pulling off the diamond metal block with all my strength but it held firm. I guess Lansky did correct its QC problem.

Ottimo e funzionale
Ottimo come del resto tutto il Lansky kit. Molto più mordace rispetto alla corte equivalente in ceramica. Bastano 3-4 passate rispetto alle 9-10 necessarie per quella ceramica. Consigliabile agire con ciascuna passata su tratti di lama non superiori ai 3-4 centimetri. Sembra anche più facile da pulire rispetto alla corte ceramica equivalente. Come indicato nelle istruzioni per le coti diamantate, NON USARE ASSOLUTAMENTE OLIO (ANCHE QUELLO LANKY) né altri lubrificanti, né in fase di affilatura né di pulitura delle coti.

Muy util para un filo maltratado o para acabado final
Mejor que la de piedra que no hay que darle tanto mantenimiento con esta puedes restaurar un filo maltratado o para acabado finar y luego al acentador de cuero y que muy bien
