I only used this for ice water. Kept ice though for longer than 24 hours. A great buy! **Q: What is the highest temperature this jug can safely take ?** A: The straw inside looks pretty thick, so I don't think it'll just shrivel up from hot liquids. I'm sure it could take higher temperatures than the average mouth lol. **Q: Can you put hot drinks in this cup?** A: I would say yes but take out the straw so it wouldn’t melt. I’ve used it for other drinks and that’s seemed to work! **Q: Can this be used for hot drinks? Does it effect its cold ability if I do ?** A: Yes, it is an insulated container. Hot stays hot. Cold stays cold.
