Having used a half decent £1500 streaming home cinema receiver for a couple of years I wasn't prepared for any real discernible hike in sound quality......Emperor's new clothes etc. I bought the A6 for the control software (mostly). However, there is no question about how musical this sounds in comparison to the Denon. Listening to music is now listed as one of my hobbies again. I really can't stress this enough - it's been a life-changer. Coupled with the (unique?) easy plug and play SSD facility, this has proved to be a very wise purchase indeed.
