The first one cost like $150.00 and broke at a splash pad. After using this for 1 day I can already tell you call quality is much better than the more expensive watch. It worked with a tmobile sim card, (same as the other.) It was precise on the location, as soon as I started the app which honestly was very impressive since our house doesn't show up on GPS. I am going to give this another month or so and write another review, but so far this is a better watch than the other more expensive one we bought. The only thing the more expensive one has that this doesn't is on the phone book list you can't put a picture just write the name, so if your child doesn't read you have a bit of a problem. Overall I'm happy with this purchase and it was fairly easy to set up, even though I'm not tech savy. ### ⭐ Ordered 2: 1 worked, 1 is going back *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2018* Update: Now, even our first watch is not consistently working. My son can call me and send me messages, but my calls to him do not go through.There is no point to an emergency GPS watch phonw that isn't reliable.We have had mixed results with these Owlcole Smart Watch gps phones. The first worked. The second did not.The first watch we ordered worked pretty well. It took a day or two for the sim to connect and lots of tries to connect the app to the watch so we could get it all set up and make calls - but it worked! And on my sons campout, I had his exact location, chatted with him, and he called me to check in. It was perfect.Since then, at times this watch is perfect, at times it is glitchy, but it does work and my son can call me when he needs to.Unfortunately, the second gps watch did not work.Our sim card was functioning (after a week of messing with it, we could see the gps location on our app and we tested the sim card in another phone to be sure the problem was the watch, not the sim card).We could never connect the app to the watch in order to add contacts, emergency numbers, or make or receive any phone calls at all.We could send chat messages, but it took days for them to be received and still no calls could be made and the watch wouldn't connect with the app.Despite our sim card working perfectly in the other Owlcole gps watch we own, the watch never did connect to the app or work for calls.We tried all the directions from other reviewers and from the manufacturer - but the watch just did not function properly. We are returning it to Amazon. ### ⭐ In theory this seems great, I bought 2 watches *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2018* In theory this seems great, I bought 2 watches , one for each child and both activated just fine with the Sim card. Although both seemed to immediately be able to receive a call, NEITHER will connect to the app, it just keeps saying "device offline" like others have mentioned. So, I cannot add any numbers or utilize any of the needed functions.
