Review: Great writing skills development tool - My daughter likes using these and finds them easy to use. There are two in the pack; one is purple and one is blue. They have a good grip and the design means the fingers are in the correct position. They are well made and a good size for her little fingers. They are quite expensive but I think it’s worth it as they are really helping her to develop. Her writing is improving since using these. They are refillable but I haven’t tried doing this yet. They don’t need sharpening; they just twist at the bottom to release more lead. Overall I am very happy with these and would recommend.

**Q: Are these smaller than the penagain pens? my husband loves the pens, but also wants a pencil.**
A: Yes they are smaller, child sized. The original pens are about 4-1/4 inches long, and the pencils are 3-1/2 inches long and a bit narrower.

**Q: I don't see dimensions of the pen, can a very small 4 year old use this or is it too big and uncomfortable?**
A: Very small suggests to me that the 4 year gold's hand would be too small. It is a small writing instrument about the size of a golf card scoring pencil.

**Q: what lead does this pencil take**
A: 2mm, but is non-refillable

**Q: IS THE PEN HARD PLASTIC**

Wish these came in different sizes. This is a one size fits all product and it is too big for my 5 year olds hands she will grow into being able to use them but don’t possible to use right now. Love the twist out end.
