DOES NOT WORK
What an absolute waste of money. The smell is ridiculous and it caught 1 fruit fly! The rest are flying in the room laughing at the product

Definitely Works
After reading some reviews, I became skeptical. I've used home remedies with Apple Cider vinegar, so I didn't expect much difference. Now that I've been using it, I see that most people do not understand this product. Yes, you open it and leave it on the affected area. Yes, if you knock it over, it will spill. Yes, it has a strong Apple Cider smell, and YES, it kills fruit flies. We were swarmed with them this year. They are super fast and hard to catch. This product lures them to one area, and boop! They jump to their peril. One quick tip I've learned - this sounds a little crazy, but it works. Sometimes, the FF sits at the edge of the container; it can be maddening because they seem almost "too smart" and know they don't want to go IN the container. Here's the tip...if they are sitting at the edge, walk up to it real slow and give it a good "blow"; they'll get pushed right over the edge and fall right in. I don't know why this works so well, but I think it's because they get a little drunk on the smell; they sort of "forget themselves" and just enjoy the hooch. Just give it a little blow, and they fall right in. Gross as it sounds, I had this on my stove for about 3 weeks - it definitely lost its potency, but in the end, there were about 100 or more of them suckers in there. It works - I see a lot of people complaining about the smell. Is it better to have these nasty little bugs on your food? In your COFFEE???

Was skeptical, but turned out to be the best option out of all. Shake Well!
I've bought a variety of different bug removal products and this is the one I had the least confidence in. Reviews didn't seem bad but the negative outweighed the positive in my head and I nervously made the purchase. Let me tell you, I was wrong 100x over. The first week I set it up I noticed it attracting them in droves, sitting around the rim but not going in. I was scared here but I carried on. Not too long later I peered in when passing by and it had caught TONS. I have had it open a bit past the 21 days it recommended, and while the strong smell has vanished, it still seems to attract them even now. It is a bit gross with seeing clumps of the little dead things at the bottom, so I wouldn't recommend keeping it out for long. I don't receive guests so it was no inconvenience for me to keep this in the problem areas indefinitely. Next to my sink for the drain buggers, and right on my dining table. I'm keeping it open for a few days more and will definitely be buying another when I'm next able! Maybe two, but that might be a bit much haha!

Not working
1 Star โ Does Not Work and Has a Very Strong Smell Unfortunately, this product does not work at all. I opened the jar over a day ago, and there is still the same amount of fruit flies as when I first set it up. The fruit flies are simply sitting around the outside of the jar. The biggest negative is the smell. After leaving the jar open for just one day, the entire house started smelling strongly of vinegar. The vinegar odor is extremely strong and unpleasant. I honestly donโt see any positive sides to this product. The two main things I noticed are: Negatives: * Does not attract or trap the fruit flies. * Fruit flies remain outside the jar. * Extremely strong vinegar smell that spreads throughout the house. * No noticeable improvement even after more than 24 hours. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product.

Good but strong smell
The smell is awful! It's so strong and it makes you nauseous. However it works! It's cheap and small and doesn't take up much space and works really well!
