I am going to Ireland, do you think this will be waterproof enough?

I bought it for my trip to Ireland and while in Ireland discovered that it's not waterproof, was very disappointed, even my passport that was in the pocket on the side that faces your back got wet. I wish I could return it.

Can this bag be slung on the right shoulder?

Unfortunately no. I do like the bag but would have preferred that option as well.

Shockproof to what height?

Buy a pelican and enjoy piece of mind. I've owned the Mosiso for about 2 years. It's a great bag but I don't consider it shockproof more than any other cloth case. i

What is inside width? Outside is 7.9". Need 7.5" to hold Canon 70D with 75-300mm lens attached which is 7.5" total.

Internal dimension 10.1 x 7.87 x 4.33 inches, so it is fit.
