These bottles are sturdy enough to withstand delivery; Hence the problems with first delivery of this water (damaged in transit because not shrink-wrapped). Same thing happened with Kirkland 500 ml case and more than half delivery damaged, tops of bottles squashed down into body of bottle. This happened twice so I junked Kirklands idea and found these , which are great, by the way. At last! I must say I that the Amazon rep at customer support was incredibly understanding, courteous and helpful.
