A: No. It will not operate a dimmer. It fits over a paddle switch to turn it on and off. Nothing more.

**Q: Will it work for double light switch**
A: This will not work for a double light switch. This particular item is for a single switch.

**Q: Can i get a replavement part?**
A: I'm not sure.  I bought one of these once and it's so fragile it broke after a couple uses.  Just wound up super gluing it.

This thing is awesome, wanted something different in my room over the standard rocker in every other room. Had it for a couple years now and it still makes me laugh. Ex wife hated when I got it but it’s still there. It is plastic so it will develop a squeak after some time but a little graphite lube or silicone WD40 and you’re good to go.
