While it states on the website that it can be changed 180 degrees, I have yet to find out how. To make it work for me, I have to set the clock directly facing me just so I can read it sideways on the ceiling. Unfortunately that casts too much light at me in the dark. Not what I had in mind. The buttons didn't work properly, and when I actually succeeded setting the time, the thing could not keep proper time--overnight it lost 3 hours time. The alarm did not work. The "multiclolored display" is unintelligible. The projected numbers were unclear--the red "lens" the numbers projected through was cloudy like someone put glue on it. I don't believe a single one of the "verified purchase" reviews. They could not possible be legitimate. What a piece of junk this thing is!!
