I have used different bread and it only toasted the middle. I don't want striped bread. I decided to send it back but then found out that it is not allowed if it has been used! you have to use it to find out whether ot does as advertised. As a pensioner I cannot afford to pay for something that is of no use. I will have to buy another toaster as soon as I can afford it.
