I own a much more expensive one but the lawn sand corroded the metal bar and the wheels fell off. (I plan to replace the metal axle with a plastic one) I'm guessing this will fail in a similar fashion but it's cheaper so less of a "plain". ## Features - 12L Grass and Lawn Seed Spreader H:1100mm x W:565mm x D:210mm - Large Wheels, Long Handles and adjustable settings - Material: Polypropylene & Steel - For use for granular materials - max spreadable material 8mm (Do not use with damp fertiliser or damp seed) - Dry Salt, Grit, Fertilser, Seed - Push the spreader to sow the seeds - This is best done in a straight line as the wheels are connected to the one axle so not designed to continually turn in circles. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CKZDJBRM | | Best Sellers Rank | 103,156 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 165 in Lawn & Garden Spreaders | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars (128) | | Date First Available | 13 Oct. 2023 | | Guaranteed software updates until | unknown | | Item model number | 5035960162920 | | Manufacturer | forestfox | | Material type | Grass | | Product Dimensions | 20 x 50 x 80 cm | ## Images ![forestfox 12L Grass and Lawn Seed Spreader with Large Wheels and long Handles - Adjustable Setting 110 x 565 x 210mm, Dry fertiliser, salt, Grit - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-y1mK43GL.jpg) ![forestfox 12L Grass and Lawn Seed Spreader with Large Wheels and long Handles - Adjustable Setting 110 x 565 x 210mm, Dry fertiliser, salt, Grit - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91OnsTirf0L.jpg) ![forestfox 12L Grass and Lawn Seed Spreader with Large Wheels and long Handles - Adjustable Setting 110 x 565 x 210mm, Dry fertiliser, salt, Grit - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/916iiP5FKdL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price *by O***A on 27 April 2026* Easy assembly ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap and flimsy ... but that's not a bad ting (see video) *by G***. on 8 March 2024* A basic cheap & cheerful law-spreader. Adjustment lever does not work correctly. Returned using returns procedure, had to pay return postage assuming I would be refunded. Seller will not refund postage as they say I should have contacted them before returning, but their return information states to contact them if the product is damaged, it was not damaged but faulty. They have ignored my last request for a refund. ## Frequently Bought Together - forestfox 12L Grass and Lawn Seed Spreader with Large Wheels and long Handles - Adjustable Setting 110 x 565 x 210mm, Dry fertiliser, salt, Grit - Greenforce G21086 Green Force Lawn Feed Weed Moss Killer 400m2 Fertilizer, Grey, 30.0 cm*21.0 cm*11.0 cm - Pronto Seed Premium Grass Seed 7 kg - Fast Growing, Hard-Wearing - Covers 420mΒ² for Lawns & Overseeding - DEFRA Approved & Tailored for UK Climate (7kg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/574258304-forestfox-12l-grass-and-lawn-seed-spreader-with-large-wheels](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/574258304-forestfox-12l-grass-and-lawn-seed-spreader-with-large-wheels) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
