That stated the card was outside of the antistatic bag upon arrival. I blame both Amazon and the seller for that, on the seller side for not sealing the product package. Otherwise board works as intended install took a matter of 10 minutes unscrewing six screws, then using a guitar pic or other plastic pry tool to pop the back lid off, peeling off the black adhesive cover over the heatsink, and SSD, removing the old drive, inserting the new adapter, installing your drive of choice and/or thermal pads if that is your preference. Close it back up. Screw everything back in, good to go. No type of back cover bulge, even with m gelid pads on either side of the SSD. It’s advisable to clone your drive before hand using an SSD enclosure if you have one on hand.
