The outside of the box has chips in the varnish. The only thing that looks ok are the handles!!! It is definitely not worth the money and looks absolutely nothing like as advertised. The wood is a cheap white wood covered in a stain. It had gouges in the top and side upon delivery. The interior does not look as though it would be suitable for most cutlery and once again inferior materials were used for the lining.
