Solid lock and thick cable. Actually, the cable is so thick that it isn't very flexible making it a bit tricky to snake it through all my peripherals. The adhesive is not strong enough to hold with someone pulling hard on it so I'm trying liquid nails. Not sure if it will work yet.I bought this for my home computer system because I live in a high-theft area where home break-ins are common. The product is well made, and will work well as a deterrent. Any thief prepared to cut cables and locks will easily be able to steal my computer and screens. But most home break-ins here are done by lazy thieves who just want to grab and go. I'm hopful this system will be enough to just piss them off and make them give up and move on.
