Rick Stein is a character and part of the fun in watching this series is to second guess what is really going through his mind as he compliments those who offer him local fare.  The settings are attractive and the raw ingredients of the dishes served are nice, plus we learn a little history as well.  It's an enjoyable formula except when watching Rick splashing into the nearest water for a swim...

In my  opinion Rick is the best of all the Celebrity chefs, actually with all the videos he finds time to make particularly in other countries sometimes I wonder how he manages the time to do all the amazing fish dishesfrom Cornwall ......
