This was ordered as a back up to a surgical suit for my male dog to wear post-castration, in case the suit didn't fit or my dog wouldn't wear it. My dog actually likes the surgical suit which is good as when I needed to wash the suit I tried this Comfy Collar out on him and he struggled a bit and tried to remove it. I cut some old leggings for a temporary alternative whilst the surgical suit was drying and ordered a second surgical suit for times that I may need to wash the other one over the next week or so that remains of his recovery. Since he likes wearing the surgical suit I actually think it could be useful for general wear too (he's an older dog and the cold flares up some arthritis so hopefully it will help prevent that).I imagine that the Comfy Collar works well for some dogs, but not for mine. ### ⭐ Totally unsuitable for a cat *by L***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 January 2019* This is not ‘comfy’ or ‘small’. It’s really quite heavy and not flexible at all. Bought for adult cat, the length of the cone meant that he definitely would not be able to drink or eat. He couldn’t even lie down due to the length of the collar, ridiculous and definitely not suitable for a cat. It was at least twice the length of his head and would have been cruel to use in my opinion. Amazon have issued a full refund on return so great service, shame about suitability of the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ better than plastic! *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 May 2016* much kinder than the horrid plastic ones from vets. bought for my cat and she wasn't happy about wearing it lol but i felt slightly less guilty about it because it was a nice padded one.
