All the parts were there - the manual is small, the print is very small, but it was just legible... and above all it was correct in every detail. So assembly was easy. If you have a scanner/printer it might be worth enlarging the instructions? I didn't, and we were assembled and testing the lamp within a couple of hours, taking it slowly. The 16 vertical parts screw to one another with the screws provided, the platforms are selected for each level, the lamp holder is screwed in place, the drawer components fit perfectly and the USB brick slots into place - putting the two screws in from below to hold that firmly was a bit of a fiddle, but only for a few minutes. The four little black plugs that locate the lamp shade are small and less than obvious, but fit exactly, as does the clever shade. Altogether a very satisfying build, if you read the instructions first! I have 'friends' and relatives who don't bother with instructions, and am now old enough to tell 'em to build their own furniture! Once the thing is built, it becomes sturdy. Clever design hides the fastenings - only conspicuous items are the little cable clips that hold the power lead, and they are pretty small. It all worked first time... the 'phone charger is not the fastest, but a vanilla Samsung went from 25% to 95% in a few hours. We chose the black one, and it fits into a mostly-wood-furniture sitting room surprisingly well. Looks good in a smart room. Recommended? Yes! Not the cheapest but worth the price. This may be the best bit of self-assembly furniture we have ever built - and we are long retired now.

Great lamp/shelf. Easy to assemble. Only negative - the metal pull cord for the lamp is very fragile. I’ve broken it twice now, it’s relatively easy to reattach.

Don’t be put off by some reviews this is a great product ! Very easy to put together and looks great . All parts as expected with an extra of each screw just in case 😊. The pull cord is sturdy and it gives a lovely warm light Super little bedside table for my daughter

Very unstable base with faulty temperamental electric bulbs. After several uses the thin cord snapped off. Now after only several weeks I have to contact seller and after two emails weeks apart I’m forced to leave this review. Do not buy. Poor customer service.

Small than expected. Now you don't really know how small 26cm is until its in shelf/lamp form. I purchased the drawer version for the additional cost and its pointless it can only hold the TV remotes and is plastic. The concept is great just wish it was bigger so the shelves could serve a purpose other and a mug of tea, I bought it to replace a worn lamp table the table but it's simply to small. Height is great, chargers are great, lamp and colour options great.
