Works great for bench testing
We had a Ford truck with brand new blower motor kept blowing the resistor. Use this tool to check. Draw on blower motor. Found out new blower motor. Too many amps being drawn. Good tool

So far so good
PPamp accessory works with my autel branded power probe. It has a 2032 battery inside which makes it a stand alone tool. On the back of tool it states 10amp in/out. Just to experiment I hooked up my fluke 87 with internal fuse protection to my truck in series with battery make sure I wasn't over 10amp. Had 3 amp reading with drivers door open.I hooked up PPamp (see photo) meter stand alone in series with my battery and got 3amp. Closed my driver's door amp draw was .200ma I'm sure it would been .050ma if I gave time to sit as my truck doesnt have a draw (same a fluke 87 mm)Next time I need to do amp draw test at work will try it again. Had to buy a few 4mm banana jack connectors to make it work.Measure amp draw with or w/o power probe. It seems to be accurate at low amp draw. Great little tool!

Power Probe Amp Adapter test for radiator fan
Excellent attachment to the power probe. Confirmed to me that my rusty old radiator fan was not drawing excessive current causing the fuse to blow as I expected but the cause is likely a short upstream of the fan .

Excellent Power Probe tool
This amp adaptor does exactly what I expected. Excellent addition to a Power Probe, adding circuit current feedback while testing loaded circuits.Seems the battery life isn’t great: battery indicator shows low at an hour and a half run time.
