Well built and premium feeling, it'll definitely last a long time. I've used it around a year and a half so far, the gold has flecked off but otherwise it's just as I bought it. I would buy the silver one if I had to buy it again. EDIT: It won't produce a large enough flame now even after fully disassembling and cleaning it. Two years for a lighter is fine by me
