I looked around before purchasing and this seemed like best value for money and really gives you everything you need to get started. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good budget kit *by R***T on 26 February 2018* This is definitely a budget fly tying kit, but since I have never tied a fly before I did not want to commit to a great expense. However, you get just about everything you would get in a more expensive kit except for the vice which is a c-clamp and as basic as it gets, but it does the job very well. Apart from the tying tools you also get some glitter strands and some other stuff for making fly bodies as well as 4 reels of tying threads.. There are no instructions with the pack, but youtube is very instructive in how to get started and use the tools to good effect. I added some UV resin and a UV torch and with some cheap and very garish feathers I made my first flies. I became interested in tying flies because I wanted to make my own rigs and I will be interested to see the results. I enclose a pic of my first flies; heaven only knows if they will work, but I believe that mackerel are not overly fussy, although different colours seem to work on different days in my experience.
