A lot of people don't realize it, but glutamine is burned up fast when exercising and this can compromise the immune system as it gets first crack at your glutamine. Taking this I didn't get the inevitable cold when I work out hard for a few weeks. This was a cheap source, but definitely high quality. I just add a small scoop to my protein shakes. I would definitely recommend this to any weight lifter.
