Not only was the emerald color the right shade of green but the comfort has been wonderful. My kids love to come and lay on top of the comforter because of how soft and fluffy it feels. It keeps the perfect temperature as well. We got it in Aug during the heat of Utah weather and it worked well. Now we are entering Fall season where the temperature is dropping and I haven’t had to add another blanket yet. I like to have a larger comforter on my queen sized bed, so we bought the king.
