Force these off with screwdriver and unscrew fixing screws. **Q: Would this be suitable for a normal plastered wall in a bedroom, or is it made onlyto be fixed to a tiled wall?** A: This seat can be fitted to any wall that is capable of secure fixings, i.e. solid plaster walls not stud and plasterboard. You will also have problems if the plasterboard has been spot bonded to the solid wall as it leaves gaps between the plasterboard and wall which will give when the seat is fastened tight then it will crack the plaster. Tap the wall if it sounds hollow it is not suitable. **Q: Where is it made ? Made in China?** A: I have no idea! BUT it is strong, extremely useful, folds up to put away, looks good and I use it often to sit on to use my washing machine.
