With this suede colour I made them look as good as new! I used a small paint brush for fiddly bits like around the shoelace holes and a bigger brush for the rest. Super easy to use. This pale grey is not a dye, it's a surface coating. It goes on easily enough but once dry and you try to brush up the nap of the suede you will be enveloped in a fine white, possibly hazardous, dust. This will transfer to any clothing the suede comes into contact with. Fortunately I was able to wash the stuff of the shoes and start again with another brand. Avoid.
