I have been doing yoga on a thin rug and struggled just to sit comfortably but having this mat has made things seem so much easier, the only discomfort being from pushing myself further than I'm used to rather than the floor. I gave it four instead of five stars because the dents and wrinkles from its straps and packaging haven't faded at all after being left flat for a few days, however this is my first yoga mat and don't know if they are always like that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfortable thick excellent quality *by S***8 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 January 2019* Highly recommended. I have really enjoyed using my mat. It is thick and very comfortable for floor work. The cushioning is appreciated because I have sore knees and couldn't work on a hard surface. The mat is so nice to use, that I've even fallen soundly asleep during relaxation after exercising. I was very impressed with the company who sold this product because they sent some information about yoga positions and took the trouble to check that I was completely happy with my purchase. And I very much am.I highly recommend with with only one proviso (which doesn't bother me). Because this is a luxury mat compared with some thin alternatives, it doesn't roll up into a compact little bundle if you need one that's easily transported, for example on public transport.
