They are very bright and work great. Very easy to install and seem sturdy and well made. I have them hooked up to my yak power setup with noqua battery. Review: 1 year review - I bought the green set and installed them in my 12T. I bought two sets and it lit up the mid section of my kayak where my feet are. I have zero problems seeing at night. They are very bright and if you look into them, all you will see is stars. Trust me! I made one mistake and installed one set right by my feet and I accidentally touched one and it burned my foot. I'm not going to move it since I already drilled into my kayak but now I can warn everyone. I highly recommend these and if you already have the yak power system, it is literally plug and play. I have 8 of them installed and 2 bow strips plus a stern anchor light and run a helix 7 on my Old Town Predator PDL. I also have 2 green ones that I fit into the drain holes for night fishing and can remove for day fishing. They will run off of one small battery for about 8 hours. They are great lights. I would not worry about the amp load, it’s so small that it should not be a problem. Call Yak Power if it is important to you.
