I'm looking for something cosmetic that will make my nails look smooth under the polish.** A: I put in two coats and then use a colored nail polish. When this dries it is a flat look, no shine but it does cover the ridges if you use 2 coats. I also add a clear shiny top coat if I want natural looking nails. Hope this helps **Q: Is this a treatment or nail polish or both? Do you need to take it off or does the formula soak into the nail?** A: This is both a nail treatment and a ridge filler. I use it as a base coat. You do have to remove it before a new manicure. This does not soak into the nail. **Q: Which product would be better to conceal staining on nail? The pink or camo?** A: Mine only says Makeover. But works great for me! Does not say pink or camo! I use about 3-4 coats. Works great for filling in ridges, & helps prevent breakage. Looks great on older nails. **Q: can this be used under gel polish to help minimize damage?** A: I didn’t use it under gel. Used under quick dry polish but I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t.
