These are very flexible screens. Very thin and lightweight, but they work well. If, like me, you have a dehydrator which has the fan in the middle. . . It’s very easy to cut a hole in the center of the screen. I also use these screens in fermenting peppers. I simply cut a circle out of the screen to fit the jar size that I’m using. Hand-wash only. Maybe 1/8th an inch between the edge of this mat and the plastic tray edge.
